Amazon Loses Appeal of French Order to Stop Selling Nonessential Items
Labor unions have finally won against Amazon. Well, in France at least. A French supreme court ruled that Amazon can’t sell any non-essential items from it’s French warehouses. The case against Amazon was prompted by their poor handling of employee health concerns.
'Publisher' Google ordered to pay $40k in damages for defaming Melbourne lawyer after court ruling
You can now sue Google for linking to your reputation ruining content. At least, you can in Australia. A Melbourne court recently ruled that Google acted as a publisher when it refused to take down defamatory content. Helloooo freedom of speech concerns.
